What is Map Readiness?
Azavea’s Map Readiness Program aims to help nonprofits assess their data, improve processes, find opportunities for analysis, and become more data-driven organizations. Our Data Analytics team works with nonprofits to understand the organization’s aspirations, challenges, and opportunities.
Map Readiness Webinar Series
In this webinar, titled Data-Driven Advocacy Part 1: Getting Open Data to Further Your Nonprofit Cause, the Data Analytics team covered:
- How the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) modeled and mapped areas of high need for childcare with Azavea’s help and was able to win $1 million from funders and local government for their advocacy work by sharing maps with local elected officials.
