Jeff Frankl joins Azavea as a UI/UX Designer. He works alongside software development teams to design interfaces and information for client applications and company projects.

Jeff graduated from Haverford College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Previously, Jeff was a developer at a public interest news organization, collaborating with reporters on data-driven projects and building interactive maps and applications. He also designed websites in the nonprofit sector, started a tiny coworking space in his neighborhood of West Philadelphia, and got a degree in sociology while helping to develop his college’s first student-made web portal.

Outside of the office, Jeff may be found playing pickup soccer or strategy board games or covering 80’s pop songs on his guitar.
