On Tuesday, September 25, we hosted “Exploring Mobile Technology with OpenTreeMap Mobile,” a webinar that provided an overview of our work creating a mobile app version of OpenTreeMap and discussed the potential uses of mobile technology in urban forestry. Amy Miller from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission joined us to describe her team’s experience using iPads to conduct a large-scale tree inventory in South Philadelphia in summer 2012.
A recording of the webinar is available below. I’ve also posted the recording on YouTube and made the slides available via Slideshare. If you have any questions about OpenTreeMap or mobile technology, please feel free to contact me at dboyer@azavea.com. We’ll also be at the Society of Municipal Arborists conference and Partners in Community Forestry conference in Sacramento from November 13-15. Stop by and say hello!
