Vijay Lulla is a Software Engineer on the Geospatial Technology and Research team at Azavea.

Before joining Azavea Vijay taught physical and computational geography at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) for eight years. He has also worked briefly as a geospatial analyst at an environmental consulting firm, and as a database developer at a research institute.

Vijay is deeply interested in learning how people learn new things. He has been learning the violin since January 17, 2015 and continues striving to become a better musician. He enjoys reading and writing, and discussing ideas with anyone who will talk to him.
