Tai is a Software Engineer on the Civic Applications Team. 

They graduated from West Chester University with a degree in English Education before finding their calling in software development. Prior to joining Azavea, they worked as a software developer at Starship Health Technologies, where they developed web and mobile applications aimed at improving the outcomes of low-income and minority patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. One of their proudest moments was having their work published in a peer-reviewed journal.

In their free time, Tai enjoys reading, introducing their children to Star Trek, playing piano, making mixed-media art, and learning about whatever topic has currently caught their interest (at the time of writing, they are studying the intricacies of American common-school education circa 1900).
