Julie (she/her/ella) is the People Operations Coordinator at Azavea.

Having graduated with a Fine Arts degree, the world of HR was not initially on Julie’s radar. However, because of her sense of curiosity and supportive mentors, Julie gained experience in general HR administrative work to more specialized work throughout her time working in higher education. She appreciates being in a field that impacts people’s experiences at work on many levels.

In her free time, Julie enjoys playing board games and trivia with friends, tackling a new knitting project, walking around Philly, and chai lattes.
