Jonny Szczesniak is a GIS Analyst for the Civic Applications Team at the Philadelphia Water Department’s Stormwater Billing and Incentives program.
He obtained his B.A. with Latin Honors in Geography and Urban Studies at Temple University and received the 2015 Henry N. Michael Prize in Geography and Urban Studies.
Jonny has lived in Philadelphia for over a decade, developing a passion for social, economic, and environmental justice issues. He often collaborates on musical ventures, has led volunteer groups in various art or rehabilitation projects, helps out at Circle Thrift, and engages in activism. He enjoys playing baseball and basketball, biking around the city, running, hiking, making music, and hanging with his kid.
