Eliza Wallace was educated in archaeology, where she began to develop her interest and skills in data management and GIS. After graduation, she transitioned out of archaeology and worked as a GIS Analyst, focusing on climate change adaptation planning, stormwater planning, and transportation. Later, she led a team of data analysts in developing novel geospatial datasets in the areas of healthcare, housing, and more. At Azavea, she manages projects for the Geospatial Technology and Research team.
