Brett is the Vice President of Engineering at Azavea.

Brett has been working with technology for the last 20+ years, building engineering teams to solve problems through engineering excellence. He’s worn many hats from software engineer to Chief Technology Officer, always translating complex product visions into technical roadmaps and deployed products – and everything in between. He believes in positive impact and building trusted relationships and rapport with everyone.

He has contributed to a wider concept of social impact through work with Tech4Good, CivicTech and RHoK, and is committed to collaborate and work on the climate crisis. Brett serves on the board of the Child Nature Alliance Canada helping to foster meaningful connections with the outdoors for children and youth. Brett lives with his family and works in Ottawa, Canada, the traditional land of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people.
