Earlier this month, Azavea sponsored the 4th SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC) community sprint in San Francisco. We joined in with Planet, the Climate Corporation, Radiant Earth Foundation, Astræa, Element84, and CosmiQ Works to make the event happen. The group worked over the course of 3 days to pull off a few “dream” milestones, as Chris Holmes of Radiant Earth called them: a QGIS plugin, additional API implementations, and new STAC catalogs.
Notably, our own Aaron Su brought Azavea’s machine learning capabilities to the table and helped build out a new Label extension.
We are proud to be a part of this community and contribute to this incredible resource. Read more on the event in Chris’ article or join the gitter channel to get involved.
