Steph is a Project Manager for the Climate Applications Team at Azavea.

Prior to joining Azavea, Steph spent a decade at a West Philadelphia community development non-profit that strove to revitalize neighborhoods and end family homelessness. She rose up through the ranks to become the Deputy Director of Community, Economic, and Real Estate Development, with her primary focus being affordable housing development and commercial property rehabilitation. She managed a dozen real estate projects, taking them from an idea to completed homes and businesses.

Steph received a B.A. in Sociology from SUNY Albany and an M.Sc. in Urban Planning from the University of Toronto. She served on the Scenic Philadelphia board and the Philadelphia Vision Zero Education and Enforcement Committee, co-chaired the Philadelphia Promise Zone Housing Committee, and is a founding member of Jumpstart West Philly.

Outside of work, you can find Steph at the playground with her kids, playing Dr. Mario while listening to The Best Show, or trying to answer the perennial question, “What’s for dinner?”
